Hi, my name is Alex Shwarz and welcome to iCamModel!

I founded this site on February 8, 2009 with the goal to make it useful informational resource for cam models. Here you can find a lot of useful info to bring your web cam modeling business to the next level. I try to focus more on independent side of the business showing how cam models can make money running their own web sites. In addition this blog contains a lot of useful tips and tricks that other successful cam models have shared here.

I’m not cam model myself but I’m making money on Internet since 1999 and started making money with adult sites since 2006. Before I started this site I was hanging out with cam girl (who is my friend) and she told me all the ins and outs of web cam modeling business. After making some research I was surprised that such site had not existed so I decided to start iCamModel.

Some cam girls hate the fact that a person who has never worked as cam model (and a male!) teaches them how to do their job. But the thing is that I don’t make up any content here. I get it either from other successful models who are kind enough to share it with me, or I personally give out info on how to promote yourself in the internet since I’m expert in this.

By the way if you are successful cam model willing to share some tips with beginners please contact me here and I’ll be happy to publish the info you provided along with the link to your site.

I really believe that with today’s technology every cam model can run her own independent business and not depend on cam sites only. You could be earning much more than just 30-40% of what you are making on cam networks. The main focus of my site is to show how to self promote yourself and build your own fan base so you can become successful independent cam model.
